INNOVATIONS ACADEMY 6TH GRADE TED TALK NIGHT
INNOVATIONS ACADEMY 6TH GRADE TED TALK NIGHT
Students at Innovations Academy (a K-8 public charter school in Kearny Mesa) have been learning about the history of human evolution and how our bodies have historically adapted to environmental impacts. Students then analyzed the recent increase in technology use since the 2020 pandemic. Students have discovered that our bodies are currently adapting to technology in ways that negatively impact our bodies. Students designed a "TED Talk" presentation to introduce a strategy/theory/change in behavior that would combat issues impacting our bodies due to the increase in technology. Students will be presenting in pairs at Mic Drop on Clairemont Mesa Blvd from 4-6pm on Wednesday, December 11th.
